Exit Highway 101 at Embarcadero Road and go East. Follow Embarcadero Road until the end. Turn left. Go into the Baylands Preserver area. If you get there before the gates are open (which contrary to the sign is very early) then park in the lot near the entrance. If you get a ticket don't blame me but I have never been bothered parking there before the posted sign and many people do. If the gate is open, drive in. The first parking lot is on your left as you get to the lake. The best parking is the second parking lot. It is on your left as you drive in, just past the old white Sea Scout building. The road takes a right turn at the third parking area closest to the nature center.
